Lorrisa Hales

Operations Director

Lorrisa is the Assistant to the CEO and the Operations Manager at ANCHOR. She joined the company in 2019 as the Proposal Coordinator and then became the Client Manager. When Bisa took over ownership of the firm in 2021, Lorrisa became her Assistant and the Operations Manager and is the backbone of our Administrative Team. Lorrisa’s responsibilities include payroll, onboarding new hires, accounts payable and accounts receivable, billing and invoicing, reimbursements, employee training, software and equipment deployment and management, and day to day operations in the firm. She is always helpful and willing to do whatever is necessary to support the Team. 

Proud mother of two beautiful daughters and currently planning her wedding, Lorrisa is devoted to her family and ANCHOR is an extension of her family. 

When she is not working, she likes to spend time with her family and she loves to garden. She has a sunflower garden. She loves hydrangeas, vegetables including collard greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries. She started her garden journey during the pandemic and has been hooked ever since! 

What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?

I like to be able to check things of a list. I like when there is a plan, getting the work done and seeing a task or project through to completion. 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 

I see myself on my farm with my animals in the garden. 

What does ANCHER mean to you?

ANCHER represents strong group of women doing their best to make a difference in an industry that is not created for.
