Tell us about yourself
I'm a single mom, animal and sports lover, and hardworking native of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!). My career began in travel, but after taking a four-year break to have two incredible kids, I transitioned into construction in 2005. I co-owned a general contracting company, where I developed business skills and an entrepreneurship path I’d never considered before.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I like uplifting audiobooks, getting out to concerts, events, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
In five years, I’ll be approaching retirement and envision myself working primarily remotely, traveling, spending quality time with loved ones, and enjoying life by the water—whether it’s the ocean, a lake, or a peaceful stream.
What does AncHER mean to you?
AncHER represents recognition and success in a traditionally male-dominated industry. It means respecting everyone’s expertise and allowing use of our unique working genius to reach goals. I appreciate being able to use my skills in organization, communication, and task completion while supporting and collaborating with those around me to be the best team possible.
