Tell us about yourself

I'm a single mom, animal and sports lover, and hardworking native of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!). My career began in travel, but after taking a four-year break to have two incredible kids, I transitioned into construction in 2005. I co-owned a general contracting company, where I developed business skills and an entrepreneurship path I’d never considered before.

Two years ago, I joined ANCHOR with the WellNest Company, drawn to their mission to create ADUs for seniors to help them be independent while maintaining proximity to loved ones. The cause resonated deeply with my own family’s experience.  As the Showroom Manager, it’s rewarding to be part of a company that’s making a real difference in people’s lives.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I like uplifting audiobooks, getting out to concerts, events, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

In five years, I’ll be approaching retirement and envision myself working primarily remotely, traveling, spending quality time with loved ones, and enjoying life by the water—whether it’s the ocean, a lake, or a peaceful stream.

What does AncHER mean to you?

AncHER represents recognition and success in a traditionally male-dominated industry. It means respecting everyone’s expertise and allowing use of our unique working genius to reach goals.  I appreciate being able to use my skills in organization, communication, and task completion while supporting and collaborating with those around me to be the best team possible.
