Crystal Anderson
Proposal Coordinator
Crystal joined ANCHOR as the Proposal Coordinator in January of 2022 and has played an instrumental role in our pursuit of new work. Before joining Team ANCHOR, Crystal worked at Golden One as a Contact Center Representative where she helped members with their banking related questions. Her extensive customer service background and her gifted attention to detail, has translated very well to the tedious process of reviewing Request for Proposals (RFPs), coordinating internally and externally with subcontractors to request and collect all of the technical pieces of content, organizing them according to the specifications and submitting by deadline. Since joining ANCHOR, Crystal has coordinated the submission of dozens of proposals that have secured the firm contracts for on-call work for agencies and projects throughout the Bay Area.
Crystal got married in August of 2022 and it was the best day of her life. She and her husband live in Rancho Cordova with their Mastiff Labrador, Starr. In her off time, she enjoys reading Colleen Hoover books, going out to dinner and traveling to new places.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself growing my small family with my husband and being successful in my career.
What proposal was the most memorable that you worked on and why?
The Alameda County Public Works Agency proposal was a doozy! I will never forget those long nights and early mornings that we spent getting the 140 page proposal submitted on time.
What does AncHer mean to you?
Woman Empowerment which is very important to me. In fact, “Empowerment” is tattooed on my arm with Queen Nefertiti.
